VitaMix Vita Mix Maxi-4000 Commercial Food Processor Juicer Blender & Manuals

Up for auction is a lightly used Vita Mix Maxi-4000 Commercial  model # 479044, 6-speed commercial-quality juicer/blender.  This unit is in excellent cosmetic condition (and extremely clean), and perfect working order. The motor is strong and whisper-quiet, and the chrome housing shines like a mirror. The stainless food container does not leak and is in mint condition. The original "Action Dome", high impact polycarbonate lid is also in excellent condition, and the seal is soft and pliable and seals as it should.  The stainless steel hammer mill blades are in perfect shape.  This unit has been in dry storage for the past 16 years and was little used when it was in service, so it is in like-new condition. I doubt you will find a nicer one anywhere.

This auction includes the Vita-Mix Maxi-4000 chrome steel motor housing, stainless steel container with spigot, rubber insulator mount, “action dome” clip-on plastic cover, and wooden tamper.  The sale also includes copies of the following books and other literature: Recipes & Instructions for Vita-Mix 3600 Model (1980, 128 pages), Vita Mix Blade Reversal Recipes (1975, 128 pages),  Vita Mix 3600 Instructions (1975, 26 pages), a parts, assembly, instructions list, and other original paperwork for the Vita Mix 3600. BLADES turn with a tip speed of 265 miles per hour at 24,000 rpm turn in a forward, clockwise, rotation, until the IMPACT LEVER is pressed to instantly change the direction of the blades so that they travel in a reverse, counterclockwise, rotation. When the blades are reversed, foods placed in the Vita Mix are sent into collision with the BLADES at up to 530 miles per hour!
