What is an 'economical' (cheaper) blender that is comparable to the blend-tec and the other $400 model?

I am looking for a blender similar to the blend-tec but don't want to spend $400; maybe no more than $200. The soup preparation feature is not so important as the other features of the higher-end blenders.

You can get Cuisinart Blenders that are also very efficient in blending almost anything and they are at half the price of Blendtec

The first one I recommend is a Powerful 700 Watt Cuisinart Blender:
