Commercial Blender Heavy
Im closing my shop down and have lots of good quality used catering equipment to get rid of. hows the best way
I want to sell it preferably in one big bulk, its a few blenders juicers fridges freezers coffee machine and a few other bits. i would like to get rid of it on one go rather than having lots of people coming at different times of day. its all commercial machinery so heavy duty. hey if you wana buy it all let me know too! if not how can i move this stuff quickly
Ebay is a good option, but you might need to settle for a lower price than you might wish to get unles you set a reserve. You might need to deal with packing & shipping if you decide to open your goods up to outside your local area. Do research on Ebay to see how much commerical kitchen equipment has sold for in the past.
Craigslist is another good option, because you can name your price and settle on a FIRM pricetag. Sell it several bulk lots, take great pictures, accurate and honest description. You might wish to hold an Open House if you can't get a buyer to invest in the entire lot. That way, you can sell piece by piece and still move your inventory. Advertise on Craigslist as well, and your local paper. Hey-even advertise outside of your shop!
We were recently looking at a commerical hot dog cart on Craigslist. We went out to meet the guy, and were disappointed by his inaccurate description-so please be honest.
You might even want to call a local vocational school and donate your items. Unfortunately, you'll get a tax credit for your donation, but not file until 2009. Might not be your best option if you are needing the cash now, which I assume.
Good luck to you on a successful sale.
