what is a cool/neat/fun kitchen appliance?
or tool, or accessory or cooking thing. My girlfriend loves to cook and be in the kitchen, i was thinking about getting her something cool for the kitchen but i don't know anything really. i mean cool like the magic bullet not cool like a set of knives. any suggestions? nothing too pricey, maybe max of 50 dollars or so.
hmm more info... she likes to try out new things in the kitchen, very interested in making ethnic food, such as indian. likes to bake too though, things like bread. already owns a decent knife. do people think that something like a knife or a cutting board etc. is boring though? for a christmas gift.

I have always loved cookbooks. There are some great ones out there. It is fun to try new recipes.
A nice set of kitchen towels and mitts with a hand written recipe for a nice date: On an index card write out the "recipe for a great date"
