Margarita Frozen Drink

Would this seem odd to you as a guest?

We're doing an open bar. My family in general does not drink alcohol but they do like soda, iced tea and most non-alcoholic beverages. My fiance and his friends and family like beer (and the ladies Tend to go for regular sodas and frozen drinks). But neither of us know anyone who drinks wine so we can not justify the expense of offering it if we already know no one will drink it. Would beer, frozen drinks (margaritas, daiquiris, coladas, etc), mixed drinks of their choice, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages be enough variety that no one would miss the wine not being there? There would also be the option of tea and coffee for everyone. Janecat, both of us feel that it is rude to ask guests to pay for anything themselves. Our families would never let us live it down either.

I think that would be a great selection! I agree! If no one drinks it that you can think of, Why incur that expense! Plus it sounds like you are going to have so much variety, that no one should even think twice! Anyway, they are coming to YOUR party! if they are not happy with what they do get, then they are not there to share in your happiness, only to get someone out of it! Have a great wedding!
