Small Appliance Parts

electric ignite does not work?

We have replaced several parts and it shouod work but does not.The appliance guy said there is an inline fuse for the ignite but we have searched the line and there is no inline fuse. There is a small blue box on the side of stove, could fuse be in there? What else could be the problem? This is an older range and nothing fancy, just a manual clock for stove.

There should be an electrical diagram for the unit somewhere. If you don't find it under on of the panels then it may just be in the back of the book that came with the unit. If you don't have this then you may want to get the model and serial number off the unit and look up a few parts suppliers on the web. Sometimes to be helpful they will include diagrams for different models online to help you figure out what parts you need. If you find one on the diagram then you can always call the parts supplier and ask if they carry the fuse and if they can tell you where to find it.
