I need to "beat egg whites until stiff" Help please?
What tool should I use?
I have a hand-held whisk (Can't be attached to electric beater)
a fork (self-explanitary)

If I should use the mixer, which speed should I use? (Low, med, high) It has 5 speeds.
and also, what will the whites look/feel like when done? (So that I can tell)

Use your mixer. Begin with a medium speed and increase to high when the egg whites become like whipped cream. The whites should look shiny and should form stiff peaks when done. Stiff peaks look like little mounds that will stand on there own.
