How I can make my last bike and how long will it last?
I've decided on a Dahon Speed D7 folding bike, I guess it is decent quality, but I wonder how much can handle and what type of care may help or need ... as rain, cold and the washing of attention. Is it worth getting a more expensive model in this regard. Thank you. DO NOT use "WD-40 on any bike. For lubrication of the chain, go to any bike shop, there are several good brands and you can show the right way to do it. Do not leave it out. It will oxidized and stolen. Before assembly, pick it up so both wheels are approximately one inch from the floor, then drop it. If you hear any "clunck" or rattles, figure out where it came from. They can get very fast-one insurance. Get a kit of basic road in a bike shop and even if you have to pay, take a class on how to do simple repairs such as punctures and hardening of base and settings. Also get a tire pump (actually use it for, equipped air up a tire before you buy ...) This is a good bike, if not abuse it, it will last decades with only occasional spare parts and optimizations. Ah, and wear a helmet every time you ride. Take it from me, cracking the skull into the concrete is not fun.
