Are mankind a form of a highly sophiscated bacterial infection upon this earth as a life form???

You know, like you buy a loaf of bread leave it for a couple of weeks and hey presto its covered in mould; is that like mankind and our planet earth, as I believe earth is alive and we are just guests upon her surface multiplying quickly and destroying her. So are just a clever bacterial infection that destroys mates and destroys and dominates????
