What is the best slow cooker (Crock-pot, etc), available at a reasonable price?
I'm trying to find a good cooker slow for my mom this Christmas, but the reviews on amazon.com are not very good. Most have low scores, but some have high scores but they all still have at least one test that says: "The food cooks too fast!" Or all the pots that are for sale not work well or the reviewers are stupid and are using them wrong. What is the best cheap (- $ 100) available slow cooker?
You can pick up a slow cooker or a pot pot for under $ 30.00. They all work on it. Just make sure you buy a clay pot with a removable (other than the base) to facilitate the immersion and cleaning. I've never bought one that cooks "too fast"?
