Can you add water to a crock pot before putting the stone ware in to make brownies?
My brownies didn't cook very well in the center when I tried making them in the crock pot and one of my friends said she had heard of people adding water outside the stoneware to help the brownies cook all the way through. I was wondering if this worked or if anyone else had heard of it
No. The base is not water tight or water resistent. You will short out your crock pot and probably your wall outlet. Brownies are supposed to be made in the oven.
