Machine Still Original
how do you get jeans to their original size after they were shrunk after washing them in a washing machine?
I washed my jeans (pants) in a washing machine and dried them in a dryer, after that I noticed they shrunk in size and were tight when i wore them; do you know how to reverse this effect, and get my jeans to their original size?
Jeans that are being made today are much different than those of yester-year. Many of them do have a spandex added to them. You will notice that after wearing a pair of jeans over the course of a day, the fit will be more loose towards the end of day. More expensive jeans that are available tend to keep their fit through out the day.
Your best bet right now is to attempt to wear them in the house to stretch them back out. I don't think that there are many other options available. You may also be able to stretch them much like a shoe or boot. I think there may be some sort of item that is used to stretch waistbands. But i think that you may not want to purchase something if it's not guaranteed to work. I've stretched out shoes by filling a baggie of water and placing it inside the shoe and then putting them both into the freezer. The shoe material expands as the water expands.
